Guruvayur "Melpathur Auditorium", adjoining the temple is a blessing for the devotees to spend their leisure time. This auditorium hosts various cultural programs related to the temple. Almost every day different programs are arranged here. Artists around the world prefer "Guruvayurappa Sannidhi" for their first time performance known as "Arangettam". During guruvayur "Uthsavam" and "Ekadasy Vilakku", round the clock performances of various art forms are used to be arranged in the auditorium. "Chembai Sangeetholsavam" ,the 24 hour long music festival in memory of the Karnatic Music Legend "Chembai Vydhya Natha Bhagavathar", is also performed at "Melpathur Auditorium", 12 days prior to "Ekadasy".
