Sree Manaveda Raja. Zamorin Raja of Calicut wrote the Krishnageethi based on the Sreemad Bhagavatha Dasama and Ekadasa Skandhas and submitted it to Lord Guruvayurappan on the 30th day of Thulam 1160. For the remembrance of this, Guruvayur Devaswom celebrates the day as Krishnageethi day. On this day the entire text of Krishnageethi will be discoursed at the temple Adyathmika hall and special poojas will be conducted before the Manavedasmaraka in front of the Panchajanyam.
